Laugh n' Play
Sarah picked up a new travel crib/cradle today and couldn't help getting some footage of the little man at work.
How Time Flies
Just as life was settling into a routine, last week we travelled to Iowa for Kevin and Melissa's wedding. The wedding was wonderful and it was great to get to spend so much time with family. Jeff took most of the pictures, so pictures of Uncle Kevin and Auntie Melissa will follow soon.
Abe was a stellar traveller- and after our return flight on the "baby train" we realize that traveling with a 7 week old is much easier than a 10 month old.
Entranced by Grandma's ceiling fan!

Relaxing at the Grainery.

Layover in Denver.

Working on those muscles!

A glimpse of one of Abe's many smiles.

A month with Abe!
Life in the Hankens household for the past month has been busy with feeding, diapering, and loving of Abe. He turned one month yesterday! He is growing fast and has already outgrown his first set of diapers and newborn clothes!
Abe spent his one month birthday visiting his first national monuments. We wheeled him around the Lava Trail at Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument.

And also visited Wupatki National Monument.

The past couple of weeks have brought many firsts for Abe, as well as some things that have become part of his daily routine.
First bath.

First bottle. Abe drank down the whole bottle and was ready for more!

First wedding.

First diaper change at a ski repair counter!

Other things have become part of everyday life with Abe...
Going for walks...

Reading ...

Eating...

Lap naps...this one in Uncle Chris' lap.

Tummy time...

Gazing at Abe...

Gazing back at us...

Kisses for Abe.
