More pilgrims made the trek to Marlinton to view the Abraham this month.

Abe was so distracted by the company, he didn't notice us slip away to do some hiking.

But don't feel bad for Abe; he gets out for an occasional hike now and then.

One of Abe's firsts this month was, of course, his first Thanksgiving. He wanted to dress for the occasion, of course.

Abraham also started crawling this month. I guess he really is growing up.

Finally, a few parting shots from the growing collection.

Since our last post Abe's sprouted a tooth, spikes, and a tail.

Of course, no first tooth would be complete without a variety of first foods.

A couple of weeks ago, Jeff decided he needed to take his ego down a notch, so Sarah and Abe humored him by accompanying him to Fayetteville, WV for his first bike race in twelve years. His plan backfired when he won the race!

And Fayetteville being so close, we couldn't resist visiting the New River Gorge Bridge, the day after Bridge Day.

Kevin and Melissa came down for Halloween and got to help Abe celebrate his seven-month birthday.

There was much hiking about, a Halloween costume contest, a trip to the National Radio Astronomy Observatory, and a lot of Abe-gazing.

It's hard to believe Abe's seven months old, because it seems like we've had him a lot longer, and at the same time, it's like he just got here.

It's here. In all it's leafy glory. When we're not raking leaves, we're admiring them.

The past few weekends have been pleasantly quiet. Getting out for some walks, feeding Abe, and unpacking (yes, still unpacking).

Almost as exciting as Abe eating solids, rolling over, shimmying around, sitting up, and all of his other feats, is his recent ability to sleep through the night. The last couple nights he has slept 8-10 hours straight, which means we get almost that! By far the most complete nights of sleep we've had in the past six months. A good thing all around.

Thanks for the pumpkin duds, Mom! He's wearing the hat more than fashion should allow.
